As a passive fire protection solution, our sealing rope comply with regulatory requirements and standards, and are suitable for use in a variety of complex structures such as hospitals and airports, or civil engineering structures such as bridges and road tunnels.
Emblems of our know-how, they are developed and designed in France, using technical and innovative materials. Also, our CORFODEU® expansion joints have been patented by the INPI (patent n°1762113).
CORDOFEU 120, our range of 2 hours firestop expansion ropes
In our range of fireproof joints made in France, we propose CORDOFEU® 120, a flexible fireproof cord. Designed for the treatment of vertical and horizontal joints, it has a fire resistance time of 120 minutes. It is also resistant to water and humidity and can be used with a mechanical or clip-on joint cover.

- Composition: Non-combustible, rot-proof fibres (mineral wool, glass veil and glass fibre grid)
- Application: Fireproofing of horizontal and vertical joints on substrates from 350 kg/m3
- Compatibility: Cylindrical bead compatible with sealants and joint covers

Installation tips
The installation of this product is done in several steps:
- After dusting the element to be caulked, you must glue the sides of the joint
- If it is necessary to adjust the length of the firestop cord, you must position an adhesive tape
- Use a knife or a wool saw to cut it
- Place the firestop cord
- To make a connection, you can use the mat to join the two lengths
- Final positioning of the cord
CORDOFEU® 240, our range of 4 hours firestop expansion joints
Another product is available in our range: CORDOFEU® 240. The purpose of this product is to stop the spread of flames during a fire. It creates a barrier to restrict the fire at the point of ignition. By preventing the spread of toxic, suffocating smoke and gases, it also gives people time to evacuate the building. It also provides thermal and acoustic insulation of the supports on which it is placed..

Strong points
Our CORDON 240 is very resistant and has several advantages. Resistant to water, humidity and incombustible, it is used to limit the fire and to fight against the spread of flames. Our 4-hour fire rope also provides good thermal insulation.
